Paris, 21 November 2016 – Seaver, the first designer and provider of smart, connected equipment for equestrian sports and Sony Mobile Communications, subsidiary of Sony Corporation, have today announced a new partnership, formed during the Fieracavalli horse show held in Verona from 10th – 13th November 2016.

As part of this partnership, Sony will provide expertise in developing 6 new connected Seaver products related to sports horses’ health and performance by the end of 2018.

To date, Seaver is developing a connected girth and girth sleeve that allow riders to monitor, through a dedicated mobile application, their horse’s physical condition, gait asymmetry, jump dimensions and so much more.

Zakaria Antar, co-founder of Seaver, said:

“Our mission is to help riders enhance their training methods and constantly monitor their horse’s health. This partnership will allow us to speed up our R&D and develop new products that are beneficial for both riders and their horses.”

Agenda

Seaver will participate in the next Consumer Electronic Show (CES) held in Las Vegas from 5th to 8th January 2017, alongside the Normandy delegation.

Known as the major consumer electronics and technology tradeshow organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), this event will be an opportunity for Seaver to showcase its products and develop new connections.
